The Saluting Battery in Valletta is one of Malta’s most historic and picturesque landmarks, perched just below the Upper Barrakka Gardens with commanding views over the Grand Harbour. Dating back to the 16th century, it served as a defensive artillery platform for the Knights of St. John, protecting the harbor from enemy fleets and signaling naval arrivals.
